Justyna NiznikDie Violinistin Justyna Niznik studierte in Breslau, Weimar und Köln. Sie gewann zahlreiche Preise und Stipendien, u.a. das Stipendium des polnischen Premierministers. Durch ihre rege deutschlandweite Konzerttätigkeit, beispielsweise als Konzertmeisterin im Cölner Barockorchester, sowie international mit dem European Union Baroque Orchestra, wird sie schnell einem größeren Publikum bekannt. Ihr vielseitiges Repertoire beinhaltet auch ungewöhnliche Formate wie Crossover-Projekte mit der „Terje Rypdal Band“ beim Festival „Jazz meets Baroque“ (Jazzfestival „Jazztopad“ in Breslau, Polen), Aufnahmen für das Spezialmaterial – Label (Zürich/Schweiz) und die Formation Jaki Liebezeit – Holger Maik Mertin (Köln). Außerdem konzertiert sie gemeinsam mit der Cembalistin Marta Dotkus, das Duo „Niznik-Dotkus“ hat eine CD zu J.S. Bach veröffentlicht: „Sechs Sonaten für Violine und obligates Cembalo“.

The violinist Justyna Niznik studied in Breslau, Weimar and Cologne. She has been awarded numerous prises and scholarships including a scholarship from the Polish Prime Ministry. Through her regular concerts given across Germany as well as her role as concert master of the Cologne Baroque Orchestra as well as engagements with the European Union Baroque Orchestra, she is quickly drawing attention from a larger audience. Her multifaceted repertoire also includes atypical format such as crossover projects with the „Terje Rypdal Band“ at the Festival Jazz Meets Baroque (Jazz Festival „Jazztopad“ in Breslau, Poland), recordings for the Spezialmeterial music label (Zurich, Switzerland) and Formation Jaki Liebezeit – Holger Mertin (Cologne). Along with the Harpsichordist Marta Dotkus, she performs as the duo Niznik-Dotkus who has recently released a c.d of J.S. Bach’s music titled „Sechs Sonaten for Violine und obligates Cembalo“.
